Even though embarking on their maiden European campaign, Oliver Glasner's side are learning at a rapid pace. Without key figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a commanding win that virtually guarantees them a place in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
Another three points in their upcoming fixture against Finnish KuPS should be enough to seal direct passage to the last 16, especially after a prior setback against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Seize the Moment
This match offered a platform for several Palace's fringe players to impress. Christantus Uche, in only his second start since joining on loan from Getafe, opened the account with a clinical goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, finding the net for the second consecutive succession.

After the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest several individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring his first touch, but saw his effort blocked.
The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot crash off each posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also blazed a glaring chance, indicating there is still room for development in his game.
The only worry for Palace was a second-half knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to make his senior debut, capping an otherwise perfect night for the traveling side.
